Mimaroba is a part of Büyükçemece Municipality and located at the west of Istanbul. There are Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt at the east of the region; Silivri at the west and Çatalca and Arnavutköy are located at the north of the region. The region is a peninsula surrounded by the Sea of Marmara on three sides. 

Our location which is a part of Büyükçekmece district has a TV tower which the biggest of Turkey and 3rd of Europe. TUYAP which is the largest exhibition area of Turkey also adds a serious value and vitality to the region.

Büyükçekmece district were our region is located in is one of the most pleasant districts especially considering the summer season. At the same time, Büyükçekmece has a coast could be called a wander of nature and with this characteristic it have attracted the attention of investors interested in this subject.

Noticing of this efficiency has increased the investments in the region. The investors have contributed a significant appreciaton by constructing especially 5-star hotels, shopping malls, parks, gyms.

The region is one of the 23 neighbourhoods of Büyükçemece district. Until 2008 it was municipality with its own name of Mimar Sinan Municapility, then it was connected to Büyükçekmece district by the law issued at the next year.

The region is also a satellite town.

The largest green area of Turkey is also here with the surface area of 255.000 m2.
Our region is facing at Büyükçemece and Büyükçemece Bay with almost an eagle’s view.

Büyükçemece Bay is one of the most fortunate bays next to İzmir Alaçatı Bay in terms of taking the wind and with this characteristic it is paradise for ones who dealing with windsurfing. When we look at its administrative boundaries, Dizdariye and Fatih negihbourhoods are located at east, Muratçeşme at the west, Batıköy at the south-east, Ulus negihbourhood at the north and Büyükçekmece Lake is at the northeast of the region.
